OWNER'S MANUAL | VIDA
8.b. Warning about Breakdown/Functional Trigger:

Manfunction Indication Lamp (MIL) glows on the Touchscreen to indicating there is an error lodged in the vehicle. This may or may not cause the breakdown.

Functional Safety (FuSA): “Safe Mode”  - A unique design intended safety feature for rider and vehicle.

Safe Mode :

* Safe Mode occurs whenever predefined conditions/ thresholds are exceeded during ignition ON or if any fault is detected by the safety system during riding. It is to safeguard the vehicle and rider.

* VIDA architecture has high in-built functional safety. When there is an infringement of Functional Safety (FuSA) criteria, Safe Mode is triggered and displayed to the rider on TFT.

* Two types of Safe Mode displayed on TFT.

-Intended FuSA activated to give the rider an ability to steer and get to their nearest location.

-Intended FuSA activated during vehicle running state, if safety infringed. Vehicle slows down, rider can steer it to roadside & halt.

Competitors do not have this exhaustive Functional Safety (FuSA) coverage. There is no breakdown and riders can safely restart the vehicle.
