Your vehicle has gone through hundreds of tests to safeguard it against any thermal incidence. In the design stage itself safeguards are built. Moreover rigorous crash/drop testing on traction battery ensures that even in real practical world your VIDA V1 performs top class. 

However one should know what is to be done in case of thermal incidence/fire: -

* Your safety is paramount. Under no circumstances one should put himself/herself in harms way.

* Make sure the vehicle is isolated from other vehicles and combustible objects nearby. If not try to remove other objects around the vehicle away.

* Electrical connection to the vehicle should be broken as fast as possible. Shutting down the Circuit Breaker/MCB is the best way to achieve this, rather than going near the vehicle and trying to remove the cable.

* Call Service Executive of nearest Authorized Workshop immediately (contact details on website/MyVida App) and/or call 1800-266-8432

* Do not conclude anything and/or talk to media till the experts come back to you with concrete investigation.

* Authorize the work on the vehicle which includes towing the vehicle to nearest Authorized Workshop.

Precautions to be taken during heavy rains: -

* Water wading is a practical reality during rains. Make sure the vehicle treads only through proper roads where the level of water is not higher than the centre of the wheel.

* If the Vehicle is parked in the basement, make sure the basement is not likely to be flooded in due rains and society has taken sufficient precaution for the same.

* If accidentally the vehicle gets submerged in water, don't restart. As soon as you can please take Traction Batteries out of the vehicle by using the mechanical key provided. Seek help from professionals by calling 1800-266-8432

* If there is mud on the vehicle, please get it washed from VIDA Authorized workshops only. The jet pressure should be <50 Bar while washing, especially the underbody.

* Don't do any modification, especially in the electrical circuitry as this may interfere with the vehicle electronics.

:- Following precautions to be taken in case of any smoke is seen in any battery in the worst case scenario during charging or starting the vehicle post the vehicle is driven too long in a water logged area or battery gets dipped in water by any chance.

* If Smoke Observed in the Battery - Loose Battery charging condition - Immediately Switch off the Portable charger connection, if connected

* If Smoke Observed in the Vehicle - Luggage Box Assembly Location - Immediately Switch off the Ignition.  

* If Less fumes & No flames observed from Battery, then handle the Battery with the help of thermal Gloves.

* If Flames are observed then use a Water Mist / D type Fire Extinguisher to Stop the Flames. After Flames stop then Immediately handle the Battery with the help of thermal Gloves for safety.
