Some of the Problems encountered in Seat are as under: -

* Seat Acctuator inoperable

* Seat Locking mechanism not working with Key FOB, Capp and switch.

General

• This Chapter covers removal and installation of the body panels.

• While removing/installing the body panels or components, ensure that proper adjustment of the tabs, slots, lugs, grommets, etc.

• While removing/installing the body panels, care should be taken.

SEAT LOCK/SEAT OPEN

OPERATION

ACPA/ACPC:-

Seat can be opened by pressing the seat unlock button on FOB key or by pressing the seat unlock switch on the vehicle start-stop switch.

Seat can also be opened mechanically by inserting the key

into the seat lock. To access the seat lock, remove the floor

mat.

Turn the key in clockwise direction.

To lock the seat, push down the seat gently until it gets locked

(”Click sound” is an audible indicator that the seat has got

locked).

ACPD:-

Open the seat by inserting the key and turning it in counterclockwise direction. The seat will release from its latch.

To lock the seat, push down the seat gently until it gets locked 

(”Click sound” is an audible indicator that the seat has got 

locked).

SEAT

REMOVAL

Open the seat.

Remove the bolts (2 nos.) and remove the plate.

Remove the seat from the slot.

DISASSEMBLY

Remove the bolts (2 nos.).

Separate the rider seat and pillion rider seat. *(ACPA/ACPC)

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
