a. General instructions

Clean your vehicle regularly to protect the surface finishes and inspect for damage, wear

and oil leakage.

Avoid cleaning products that are not specifically designed for vehicle surfaces. They may contain harsh detergents and/or chemical solvents that could damage the metallic, painted and plastic parts on your vehicle.

If your vehicle is still warm from recent operation, give time for the system to cool down.

High pressure Jet of water should be <10 bar and be used with >1 meter distance from the surface of the vehicle.

Warning: - If the vehicle has met with an accident, under no circumstances should the vehicle be washed without proper inspection at VIDA Authorized Workshop to rule out any damage/crack in Traction battery.

Note: -

• Take care to keep brake fluid or chemical solvents off the vehicle. They will damage the plastic and painted surfaces.

• The inside of the headlamp lens may be clouded immediately after washing the vehicle. Moisture condensation inside the headlamp lens will disappear gradually by lighting the headlamp in high beam.

WASHING OF VEHICLE

 • Park the vehicle on main stand.

 • Power “OFF” the vehicle.

 • Remove the Traction Batteries of the vehicle if you have safe/dry place to keep it nearby.

 • Ensure that the seat is properly closed and the battery compartment is firmly locked before you start washing the vehicle

 • Do not remove or partially open any of the parts while washing.

 • Rinse the vehicle thoroughly with water to remove loose dirt.

 • Clean the vehicle with a sponge or soft cloth using water.

 • Clean the plastic/fiber parts using a cloth or sponge dampened with a solution of mild detergent and water. Rub the soiled area gently, rinsing it frequently with fresh water.

 • After cleaning, rinse the vehicle thoroughly with plenty of clean water. Strong detergent residue can corrode alloy/ metal parts.

 • Dry the vehicle with pressurized air.

 • Test the brakes before riding the vehicle. Several applications may be necessary to restore normal braking performance.

• Braking efficiency may be temporarily impaired immediately after washing the vehicle. Don't panic. This is normal.

• Anticipate longer stopping distance post washing to avoid a possible accident.
