OWNER'S MANUAL | Vida V1
m. Regenerative Energy system and Power Save Mode

The vehicle is capable of harvesting energy and using it to recharge the traction batteries when the user employs regenerative braking or conventional braking.

Below are the conditions in which regenerative energy will be functional: -

Condition-1

First you need to be on the move and start the vehicle. Twist the bi-directional throttle grip (1) in normal operating direction/counter-clockwise rotation (Right Side view of vehicle) to energize the motor and start the vehicle motion in a forward direction. Release the bi-directional throttle and it will automatically return to the initial position. Now, twist the bi-directional throttle in reverse direction (clockwise rotation) up to the closed position, which will engage re-generative braking while the vehicle is in motion.

Condition-2

Application of any of the brakes while the vehicle is in motion, will engage the regenerative energy creation. User can also view the re-generation on TFT screen in re-generation gauge (2).

POWER SAVER MODE

To save power, your vehicle is equipped with power saver mode.

If your vehicle is in stand still condition (motor is “ON”) and no other activity is going on in the vehicle, motor will cut-off at passage of 1 minute. To start the vehicle again, press any of the brake levers and press the motor “ON” switch.

NOTE : -

In Power "ON" condition if no activity is detected for 5 minutes, the vehicle power goes "OFF"
